Ministries: Dragnet 1347

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind.”
Matthew 13:47

Dragnet 1347 is an “on fire” fellowship for college students and young adults, ages 18 to 35.  This group is filled with those who are spiritually hungry and who have a passion to reach the lost with the good news of Jesus Christ.  They are on assignment!  That is why they chose the name, Dragnet.  Their mission is to cast out their net to catch fish of every kind.  They are not just looking for easy fish to catch - those near the surface.  They believe that they are to cast their net deep – down into the darkness to catch fish that are at the bottom.

The Dragnet fellowship is different than any other young adults or college group.  They are intent on their purpose; but, they have tons of crazy fun together.  Their fellowship meetings provide encouragement and help to empower them to live life to their fullest potential, becoming everything that God has anointed and equipped them to be.  They do community outreach projects such as the Ronald McDonald House and Habitat for Humanity.  They host many active, exciting, fun events such as:  Spring Flings, Bon Fires, Picnics, Swimming, Kayaking, Canoeing, Valentine Galas, Games Nights, Movie Nights, Volleyball, etc.

Dragnet 1347 is open to all young adults who truly want to experience the unconditional love of Christ.  We make no distinction about single, dating, married or divorced; and seek only to know God and make Him known.  We invite everyone to come and see how God’s power is alive and working in this ministry.
