Larry: Colon Cancer

I went to the VA Clinic in Orlando, Florida on the 14th of September for a colonoscopy as a routine check. Dr. Petty removed two polyps, one he said was cancer. He left the roots in and marked the location with an ink spot. He sent me to Tampa, Florida VA Hospital for surgery. My nephew and brother-in-law went with me to see the surgeon who showed us the pictures (the ones Dr. Petty took during the colonoscopy). He showed us what had to come out. We had three doctors in there and all agreed it had to be done. Dr. Murphy said he could do a Sygmoidoscopy and maybe get it out without surgery.

So, on the 14th of November, 2007, Dr. Murphy started the procedure and he said if he could not get it or if he perforated the bowel he would need to do the surgery.

I was awake during the Sygmoidoscopy and the doctor said something was wrong, that this just was not right. I looked at the monitor and it was clear; nothing was there! Dr. Murphy told me there was nothing he could do because what was on the pictures was no longer there, and I could go home; everything was normal. I said, "You are a good doctor, but I know a better one."

From the first negative report, to the very end of my ordeal, I was covered by the prayers of the saints. I had people back home in Indiana, as well as, in Orlando at New Beginnings Healing Center praying for me. I can truly say the power of prayer healed me, and I am so thankful to God for His divine healing!
